Class Exercise! yeaayy!

In this class activity, Mr Radzi give 20 word on the board and want us to choose a couple of number and place it into a 3 set. we can choose any number from o1 to 99. Then after we choose and already have a 3 set of number, we must create a creative sentence through the word that we get. Tadaaa! now! let start the game! huhu,

Part 1

From the list above, i have to choose 3 set of number... the lucky number that i choose is..

PART 2

Then, create a sentence using the word that we choose.. arggh, so hard.. erm, i try.. go!

PART 3

After finish the sentence we go to a drawing part. In this part, we must draw a picture through the sentence in part 2.

JUXTAPOSITION

In week 3, we learn about juxtaposition. yeah, this topic is very interesting. I learn something new and can give me extra knowledge that will use in future.

Introduction

Juxtaposition can be define as placing two variable, side by side and their contrast or similarity are shown through comparison. Many creative processes rely on juxtaposition.By juxtaposing two objects or word next to each other, human brain will automatically associate or transfer meaning. Usually turning somthing familiar to something less familiar or vice-versa. -slides-

In this class, Mr Radzi start by show some picture to explain what is the juxtaposition actually mean. The picture is smiley icon face and rabbit. Huhu, what is the two picture relate to? huhh, the answer is cute.hehe, actually, i quite confused about this topic, but, after Mr Radzi explain, i slowly understand. From the slide, the example is smiley face is the unfamiliar picture to describe cute, this is because, our mind can think other assumption about the picture of smiley face. Now, we look into the rabbit picture, our first thinking is the rabbit is cute right? tadaa., that is called juxtaposition where is the placing two variable, side by side and their contrast or similarity.

Mind Mapping

This time we learn about the mind map. Mind mapping is very important and useful to us to make us more easily to understand something or information. Mind map can devided into two types, Logical mind map and associated mind mapping. In creative studies class, Mr radzy want all student to create one Logical mind map about MYSELF. Huhu, so, in this task, it can give a chance to students to introduce ourselve using mind map.

Mind mapping intoduced by Tony Buzan is a great tool for idea generation and brainstorming.It enhance both side of the human brain and widely used in taking notes, research or generating new ideas.A creative mind map is able to stimulate and create interest to individual and also to the viewer. - slides-

Myself

Uben is my nickname giving by my family,huhu, actually, i dont know why they called me uben, maybe have a story behind the name. Im living in Gombak,Kuala Lumpur. Sometimes.. i quite shy in front of people, i know, that is the main weakness, but slowly i want to throw it out the bad habit. I like to make people surround me to laugh! that's why i always smile ;) yeah! i love this sense of humor. Finally about my self.. my status : in a relationship. huhu, :)

Education

From standard 1 untill form 5, i was studying at the same school name La Salle Sentul. After finished my school, im taking Diploma in management at PTPL college. There are so many of memory and experience. Then, i continue my Degree at Multimedia University in Bachelor of Multimedia majoring Media Innovation Management. I hope, i will finish my degree in very successful result. Yeah!

Interest

Photography is my favourite part of my life. I love photography! photography is my passion. Actually, my dreams is want to be a great photographer one day. Yeah, who knows! huhu, the best achievement for me as a photographer is i one of the photographers who followed indie band; HUJAN in UK tour.

Sports

My favourite sport is Football! David Beckham is my favourite player. He one of the best player in the world. Manchester United is the best team ever! glory glory man united! I also played for MMU League with my team Black Emperor. My position is attacking midfielder.

Definition :

Novelty, Creativity, innovation and invention.

Novelty is the quality of being new. Although it may be said to have an objective dimension. -wikipedia-

In my word, Novelty is a something new or new object that created by someone who have the creative ability. For example, airplane. Wilbur and Orville Wright (brothers) invented the airplane. so, i can say that wilbur and Orville Wright is the novelty person. Ohh, they are very creative and gifted in what they think and do. Now, the airplane used by every people in the world as a very important transportation.

Innovation means a new way of doing something. It may refer to incremental, radical, and revolutionary changes in thinking, products, processes, or organizations. - wikipedia-

From the word innovation, first thing in my mind is a make something new from a existing product to make it more interesting. For example, let talk about phone. We already know that telephone was created by alexander Graham Bell. Now, in our modern life, we can see all of people holding their own handphone everywhere they go. The innovation process of telephone slowly changes from a very big one to a digital telephone. The creative thinking and knowledge is very important thing to make a new ideas and to produce a new interesting and very creative product in future.

Introduction to creative studies

Creativity is a mental and social process involving the generation of new ideas or concepts or new associations of the creative mind between existing ideas or concepts. An alternative conception of creativness is that it is simply the act of making something new. (WIKIPEDIA)

Hye Im Abu Suffian b. Abu, 1081106146 from course Media Innovation Management. Yeah, i very excited to learn this subject ; creative studies. Thank you to Mr Radzy for make this class more exciting and always make all student feeling good and happy with his sense of humor, and also credit to Mdm Halena as assistant lecturer in class.
I hope i can learn more what is the 'creativity' and how to be a creative thinking people. In our life, we need to be ready and always think positive in whatever situation happens. It is a additional knowledge to all people to learn.

Lastly, i hope this subject will make me always in a energy mood in class! huhu. Common everyone!! let think CREATIVE!! make your life in a CREATIVITY WORLD!! yeahh!!

How you can be a more creatives person??

Assume you are creative.
Don’t worry about labelling yourself a creative or uncreative person. Just assume that creativity is humanly possible, and you are a human, therefore it’s possible for you.

Follow your heart.
Your passion for creativity is your guide to developing your talent. When your curiosity is aroused, when you feel yourself becoming absorbed, fascinated and excited by a creative task - that’s your talent telling you you’re getting warm - it’s saying “Do more of this”. Creativity can be hard work, and it requires dedication and commitment to keep going, but if you apply yourself and follow your heart, sooner or later you will taste creative flows, at the point where your motivation, talent and experience blend together.

Hang around with creative people. Get involved. Go to work in somewhere creativity is encouraged; go to readings, galleries and concerts; attend classes and stay behind for a drink and a chat with the other students; read books; read magazines and offer to write for them; hook into online communities via blogs, mailing lists and and discussion boards. Whatever your chosen medium, soak it up by hanging out with the people who are doing it. Get familiar with the whole of your chosen field, its history as well as its present - that way you have a chance of contributing to its future.
