Analogy vs Metaphor
Anology.
Definition : Two or more things agree in some respects.
Analogy is divided into two categories :
1. Logical Analogies.
2. Affective Analogies.
Example : Emotionally resemblance - she likes an ant.
Metaphor.
Definition :
is a figure of speech in which two different things are linked by some similarity. Comparison that are obvious are not consider metaphor.
- not using as / like.
Example : Life is a box of chocolate,you will never know what you will get!
